Harvest Oak Press was founded in the oak-covered hills of Berkeley, California in 2020. Our focus is telling stories about animals.

Harvest Oak’s first project, the War Bunny Chronicles, is already garnering awards, thoughtful praise from reviewers, and enthusiastic social media buzz from readers.

Like many in the San Francisco Bay Area startup community, we aim to change the world. In our case, it won’t be with tech you can’t wait to pick up, but with books you don’t want to put down. All on a shoestring, of course. With a generous dollop of moxie.
